Michael Maske Obituary

Michael Albert Maske, age 78, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Jackson, Michigan.

Born to Thomas and Norma Maske, Mike grew up in Jackson and graduated from Michigan Center High School. Shortly after graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, Mike married the love of his life, Ann Marie Niciporek. They shared 55 beautiful years of marriage and raised three wonderful children together.

Mike worked for Michigan Bell and AT&T until taking early retirement. He later worked in security at Consumers Energy until he retired permanently. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, and walking the dogs he loved so much.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Marie Maske; his children: Mike (Lynne) Maske and their daughter Sheridan; Michelle Maske and her children Logan and Maddison; and Neale (Katie) Maske and their children Henry and Sam; along with his sisters Kathi Cagney, Chris (Roger) Fors, Terri (James) Sharpe and Mary Maske Noble.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Gary and Larry Maske.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Henry Ford Hospice House for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they showed Mike during his final days. Their support brought comfort not only to him but to all who loved him and will always be remembered with deep appreciation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

The Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, March 6, 2026 with visitation beginning at 2:00pm and funeral mass following at 3:00pm.  The American Legion will have the military presentation immediately following mass.
